Nancy graduated from Fairmont East High School, Kettering Ohio, in 1972 and went on to higher Education graduating from Eckerd College, St Pete, with a Bachelor of Arts in American History, the attending University of South Florida, Tampa, Fl, achieving a Master of Business in 2005.
She spent most of her career in Banking and Community Development. Nancy believed in supporting her community. She Volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Community Food bank, and F.E.L.T. (Feeding Empty Little Tummies). She was a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, and the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance. She also Practiced and taught Yoga for over 20 years.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Thomas "Rick" Comingore; her mother Freda Ruth Stebbins West; her daughter Kelly Comingore; and her son Thomas "Tom" Comingore; her sister Mary Sunkes (Jim), her sister Ruthie Wall, her sister Margaret Degler (Grover), her sister Lisa smith (Steve), her sister Carol Mayne (Don) and her sister Betty Jo Simpson; her grandchild Zane Comingore, her grandchild Zeke Comingore and her grandchild Remi Comingore.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father Robert Perry West.
A gathering for Nancy will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM, followed by a reception at 2:30 PM.
