Naomi Ruth Schrock

She was born January 13, 1932 in Allen County, Indiana to Levi and Elizabeth (Zehr) Weirich. She attended Middlebury Schools and went on to be an accomplished homemaker, mother and grandmother. Naomi loved to sew and piece quilts. She also enjoyed painting ceramics and making treasured holiday pieces for the grandkids. Naomi was involved with WMSC at church. She taught Sunday School and Bible School at Bayshore Mennonite Church for years.

Naomi will be forever missed by her loving husband, Ammon Schrock; her children, Sandi (Butch) Mullet, and Cecilia (James) Strauser; her grandchildren, Travis (Elaina) Mullet, Stasha Jackson, Chad (Michelle) Strauser, Tiler (Brent) Wilson, and Clay Strauser; her great grandchildren, Tommy Jackson, Ira Jackson, Tucker Strauser, Trenton Mullet, Audrey Jackson, Kaydence Strauser, Reid Mullet, and Ayla Strauser; her sisters Margueriette Lengacher, and Verna (Eddie) Helmuth. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Strauser; her siblings, Milo (Verda) Weirich, Ida Miller, Rose (Dan) Yutzy, Sylvia (Chap) Cross, Harvey (Martha) Weirich, Edna Weirich, and Bud (Phyliss) Weirich; and her brother-in-law, Lou Lengacher.

Visitation for Naomi will be on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 4-6pm at Palms Robarts Funeral Home; 170 Honore Ave in Sarasota. A private family burial will take place on Thursday, September 22, 2016, prior to the celebration of life, at Bethel Mennonite Church Cemetery. A celebration of life will take place at 11am followed by a luncheon at the Bethel Pavillion; 2985 Bethel Ln in Sarasota.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tidewell Hospice.
