

Nicholas Christian Kauffman, 30, passed away suddenly in Fort Wayne, IN on Thursday, April 9th. Born June 20th, 1984, Nicholas is remembered for his capacity for abundant love for all and for his passion for whatever interested him, from beach and boating to family and friends. A caring and compassionate young man, Nick had a playful and joyful spirit. Adults recall his impeccable manners, his peers remember his hijinks. He was a proud graduate of Riverview High School and UCF.
Nicholas is survived by his beloved fiancée, Heidi Coyne, and her daughter whom he adored, Desirae McKinny; his parents, Cheryle (Chuck) and Constance (Connie) Kauffman; two brothers, Matthew and Alexander ,his honorary sister, Emily Cavalier, and numerous beloved friends and family.
Funeral arrangements are through Palms Roberts Funeral Home on Fruitville Road.
Viewing is from 3 to 4 pm on April 19th at Suncoast Community Church, 8000 Hawkins Road, Sarasota, FL.
Services will follow at 4:15 pm.
Flowers are welcome, as are charitable donations in his name to his favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children Hospital, or if preferred, Spanish Point Historical Society or a charity of one’s choosing.
