Orion "Bud" or Papa to grandchildren, was a loving father, husband and an avid golfer, and diehard Pittsburg Steller's fan. He loved cooking homemade pasta and sauce on the weekends for family and friends. He usually was the center of attention at the party and he loved to make people laugh. In Business he was a salesman. As his friends would say, He could sell ice to an Eskimo. He was also very proud of his service in the Air Force as well as his membership and service to the Shriner's
He is survived by his loving wife Judith "Judi" Patton, children Douglas (Shannon) Patton, Curtis (Diane) Patton, Jennifer (Roger) Koebe. He is also has eight grandchildren, Alexander Patton, Meghan Patton, Michael Patton, Maggie Patton, Craig Patton, Ceara Patton, Catlin Koebe, Anne Koebe, and one great granddaughter Reagan Patton.
He is preceded by his parents Orion & Marie Patton and his sister Janine Lynch and brother Marrill Dean Patton.
Honor Service will be held on Dec 3, 2021 at 10:30AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241
