Scott grew up in Slidell, Louisiana, served in the Louisiana Army National Guard as a Military Policeman, and was a graduate of Louisiana State University.
Scott was an intelligent, joyful, lover of life and people, who had a contagious smile and compassionate heart. He loved God, his family, his country, and all things LSU. He enjoyed gardening and had an amazing green thumb like his mom and late grandfather.
Scott is survived by his wife, Katharine “Katie” Boudreaux Raposo, three children, Katelyn Anne Raposo, John Randolph Raposo, and William Riley Raposo, parents Robert “Bob” Reed Raposo and Anne Lester Raposo, elder brother Robert “Reed” Raposo, Jr., nephews Robert Reed Raposo, III and Randall Ryce Raposo, younger sister Laura Raposo Loman and brother-in-law Seamus Loman with children Brady, Anna, Bryce, Emily, Samuel, and Margaret Loman.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 3 pm at Woodland Community Church, 9607 E State Rd 70, Bradenton, FL 34202.
In honor of Scott and in lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation be sent to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, in Scott’s name.
