I love you Becca! We had good times in our 20’s. But we’ve kept our friendship strong. I love and miss you so much❤️❤️❤️

Rebecca was my classmate, she was always so kind. May she rest in Heaven.  c/o '96

We used to be neighbors, much later, we became close friends.   Look up courageous in the dictionary and you will see her face.   God, you have a special angel now❤️

Hearing this news saddens my heart but also relieved that she is no longer suffering. Rebecca was one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. We worked together at DeSoto Memorial where she always worked hard to make her workplace better, always very helpful. She will be missed tremendously from this world but I am assured we will meet again one day. 

I met Rebecca while we both worked at Coldwell Banker and I knew that I had met a friend for life.  Through the years we made so many fond memories on our many shopping trips, sushi dinners, girl's night watching Judge Judy, and enjoying bang, bang shrimp with a glass of wine.  More importantly, I feel blessed that we got to share a lot of precious moments in life too.  I will always remember how truly happy she was when she met Justin and seeing her joy when she told me they were pregnant with Zach.  Rebecca was an amazing friend, a great wife, and mom.  She treated her friends like family and I will miss her dearly. 

I remember the day Rebecca came into our lives. Our son Justin had made a decision to move from Idaho to Florida to begin a new life.  After Justin had been in Florida for about 9 months I made arrangements to come see him. My first meeting with Justin was at the Outback Steakhouse in Bradenton where he informed me that someone he met would be joining us.  That someone was Rebecca. After eating at the restaurant we invited Rebecca and Justin to our hotel which was right on the beach. When night fell Justin and Rebecca decided to take a walk on the beach. They were gone for hours and when they returned I could tell they had fallen in love.

I am terribly sorry for your loss.  I was Rebecca's boss (former laboratory director) when she worked at DeSoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia.  I will remember her with great fondness and affection.   She had a wonderful way to brighten each day along with her wit and sense of humor.  She will be sorely missed.

Rebecca and I were boyfriend girlfriend after graduation and through to our early twentys. We were always on the go whether it was going to the beach, mountain trips, conserts, nascar races, or just finding new restaurants. I would have to say a large chunk of my best memories came from that short span of time. Eventually we parted ways but remained great friends and kept in contact. One thing that makes me smile is  remembering us having a conversation were she was concerned her 30th birthday was closing in and wasn't sure if she would ever live her dream of getting married and starting a family. With Justin and her son Zach it couldn't have worked out any better.

Rebecca & I met at our apt. bldg. in Sarasota as we used to lay out at the pool. We ended up both working at Caldwell Banker & eventually I recruited her to work on my team.  We had so many laughs together at work which made our work days more fun. So sad to read this news & have shed some tears this morning.  Sending condolences to Justin & Zach. 

Rebecca and I were childhood friends when we were growing up. We were classmates and also graduated together in Arcadia.  The years knowing her will always be cherished. May God be with her family during this difficult time. 

We had a lot of memories but a few stood out. First, when we first met around 1999, my family was going away for the Thanksgiving. I didn’t have the money to go with them so my son and I didn’t have anything to do or anywhere to be. I didn’t really know Becca that well but she told me she wanted my son and I to come to her house and spend it with her family. She had already cleared it with her parents and insisted. I was always touched that she was so welcoming and we had a great time.  Eventually she convinced me to relocate to Sarasota. I rented an apartment downstairs from hers. One night we decided it would be fun to have a few glasses of wine and then go biking through Sarasota after dark , but I hadn’t ridden a bike in many years and told her I wasn’t so sure about it. I was super wobbly and we crossed over a crosswalk down Beneva and I crashed into a big hedge. She never let me live that down lol. I enjoyed her texts, our visits, shopping, jokes, everything. She was such a positive person and I will forever miss her. My thoughts and prayers and love are with her family. 

Dear family. I worked with Rebecca for several years in Arcadia. Enjoyed the time with her. She will truly be missed. Prayers for you all.
