

The family moved to Sarasota, Florida in the 1950's and Bob graduated from Riverview High School in 1968, then Manatee Junior College in 1971 with a degree in Construction. Bob served in the National Guard, worked in construction, and real estate until finding his passion as a copper artist. He and his wife, Sheila, another copper artist, formed Dinwoodie Metal Sculptures and traveled the country doing art shows. He was a member of New Vision Church of God. Bob had several hobbies and interest but his favorite was his family.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Sheila; children, Serena (Merlin) Wheelock of Chuckey, TN, Stephanie (Justin) Forgea of Colorado Springs, CO, Robert (Amiee) Dinwoodie, II, of Pace, FL and Angela (Steve) Rogers of Bradenton, FL; 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; his twin brother, Stanley (Deb) Dinwoodie, Jr of Sarasota, FL and sister, Mary (Robert) Halpin of Red Bluff, CA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota with the Bishop Mike Farrell, Pastor officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to service time. Entombment will follow in Palms Memorial Park.
