Rocky Dale Liles

He was born June 25, 1959, in Portsmouth, Ohio.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Robin Jean Benassi Liles and three sons, Vernon Andrew Liles, Joshua Robert Perry, and Elijah Rock Liles, all of Sarasota, FL; mother, Marcella Dale Greene Nelson, of Sarasota, FL; siblings, Mary Eicher of OH, Gail Blaine of KY, Sandra Wilhelm of KY, Doug Nelson of CO and Paul Nelson of CA and their families. He also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

Rock is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Liles Jr., and sister Robin Vernette Liles.

He was a Christian that loved the Lord and attended Sawyer Road Baptist Church with his family. He worked as a manager at Beachfront Sea Castles and loved his country and watching Kentucky Basketball. Rock was a loving husband, father, son and brother who enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was laid to rest on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, September 17, 2017 at Greene Family Cemetery, Lewis County, KY.

Rock will be honored this Sunday, September 24, 2017 at 11 AM during church services at Sawyer Road Baptist Church, 5055 Sawyer Rd., Sarasota, FL 34233 with Pastor Robert Young officiating.
