

She was born on December 18, 1939, in Slaton, Texas, to Mary Ellen Eaves and Dwight Campbell, and was lovingly raised by her stepfather, Bill Renfro.

Ronda lived with quiet strength, unwavering faith, and an unbreakable devotion to her family. As a single mother, she raised four children on her own-often working multiple jobs to ensure their needs were met. Her resilience and tireless work ethic were a true testament to the depth of her love.
In her younger years she modeled for a small boutique in West Texas. Ronda began her career as a dental assistant, later she worked as a representative for a sports memorabilia company, traveling across many states and meeting people from all walks of life. Her warmth, professionalism, and charisma made her unforgettable wherever she went.
She had a deep love for nature raising butterflies, tending her garden, and enjoying the peaceful rhythm of a good book. She was a die-hard Atlanta Braves fan and rarely missed a game. Her joy was simple, sincere, and shared freely with everyone lucky enough to know her.
Family Was Her Life's Greatest Joy Ronda is survived by her loving sister, Katy Buffington; her daughters, Kenda Ketchum ( Sam), Kristi Wesszo (Brad); and her caring friends Mac and Sheila, a large and loving family of 9 grandchildren,10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Ellen Eaves and Dwight Campbell; her stepfather, Bill Renfro; her sister, Patty Lee; her brother, Keith Campbell; her children, Shannon Forrester, Michael Smalley, and Jay Paul ; and her grandson, Christopher Forrester.
Ronda's life, her strength, kindness, and unwavering love created a legacy that lives on in each life she touched. She was lovingly known as Nonnie to us all.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Ronda's name to Satchel's Last Resort Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, 8101 Coach Road, Sarasota, FL 34241-or to any charity of your choice. Giving in her name is a beautiful way to honor her heart for both people and animals.

A visitation for Ronda will be held Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232, followed by a celebration of life service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
