Roopan will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather. He lived in New York before he moved to Sarasota where he is best known for establishing Normans Liquors & Fine Wines.
He loved to travel, celebrate his birthdays surrounded by his family and close friends; but work was his passion.
He is survived by his loving wife Shanta, Children Sam, Ricky and Derrick.
He is preceded in death by his parents James & Dhanrajie Jagannath.
Service will be held on Sunday January 10, 2021 from 11am to 12pm at Robert Toale & Sons funeral home, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, followed by visitation from 12pm to 2:30pm, Entombment will take place at 3pm at Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota.
