of 84 on July 20, 2019. Sally was born on September 4 and raised by Gilbert and Clarissa
Buriff on a beautiful farm in Centerville Ohio. At Centerville High School she met and married
the love of her life, William M. McCullough, Sr. Sally received her RN and worked at Miami
Valley Hospital while they raised their four children. Sally and Bill were very active members of
Far Hills Baptist Church participating in the choir and numerous other activities. In 1985 Sally
and Bill moved to Sarasota, FL., where they remained very active at Sarasota Baptist Church
and their community. Sally continued her fine nursing career at Sarasota Memorial Hospital for
many years. Over their 65 years of marriage, Sally and Bill enjoyed many activities together,
including camping, collecting antiques, and traveling- especially when visiting with family &
friends. Their love of antiques in Ohio continued southward in Sarasota where they managed
several thriving shops and continued to attend many antique shows.
Sally is preceded in death by her brothers John (Muriel) and George (Ruth) and sister Mary
(Wayne) Turton as well as her daughter Debra (Jim) Ehrhard and son Robert (Debra) McCullough.
Sally is survived by her husband William M. McCullough, son Wm. Michael Jr. (Deborah) and
daughter Angela (Michael) Gonzalez as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and
great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be Saturday, July 27 at 1:00 pm at Freedom Christian Church, 4500
Swift Road, Sarasota, Florida.
