

Born September 24th, 1933 in Alexandria, Egypt, he was the son of Hazzan and Bertha Noah.
Sam was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Clementine. Sam is survived by three siblings, Lily Greenberg (nee Noah), Joseph Noah, and Jacques Noah. He is also survived by his sons Joseph (Susan) and Ralph (Jane), both of Sarasota Florida.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, a great granddaughter, and many other loving family members.
Sam always had a keen interest in business, starting as a teenager in direct sales of medical products, and then completing his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Commerce and Industry in Alexandria, Egypt. He worked as a buyer for The Grands Magasins Hannaux, one of Egypt's most prestigious department stores at the time, where he met his wife Clementine who also worked there as a bookkeeper. He was fluent in English, French, and Arabic, with a working knowledge of Hebrew and Greek.
In 1962, the family fled Egypt and settled in Baltimore, MD. He subsequently moved to New York where he worked and raised his family in South Setauket, New York. In New York, he built a career in commodities trading (metals and paper), and for a time ran his own firm. In 1985, he and his wife moved to South Florida and eventually settled in Sarasota, Florida to be closer to family. Sam enjoyed golf, traveling with his wife, movies and dining with friends. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday July 11th at 10 am at Temple Beth Sholom Cemetery, 801 Circus Boulevard, Sarasota, Florida 34232. Following the service a Shiva will be held at 4846 Higel Avenue, Sarasota, Florida, 34242.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Magen David Adom or charity of choice in his memory.
