Steve always greeted you with a smile and friendly attitude. He was always willing to help.


We miss Steve so very much.  He became a part of our family.  He came to our house several times a week to hangout.  He adored our pets and brought them treats often.  I'm a very private person, and don't invite many people over.  Steve was the exception .  He was special to us, we just connected and really trusted each other.  He was so easy to love.  We always had a lot of laughs at our yard sales.  Unlike us he was organized and documented every sale.  He had a young spirit,. He was over 20 years older than us, and he would blast the rock music with us.  The realization that he will never stop by our house again, brings us to our knees with grief.  We love and miss you so much. We were very blessed to have you as our friend.

Working with Steve for many years at Fleet was a pleasure. I worked at D3 in Property, but worked on veh’s and saw him 2-3 times a week for some 20 yrs. he was very easy to work with and very helpful.  We used to have conversations about Cuba and his visit there. 
He was a kind person and I can say he was my friend. RIP Steve, you will be remembered.

IT WAS MY PLEASURE TO WORK WITH STEVE AT THE SSO. AS WERE SO MANY OF OUR EMPLOYEES HE WAS GOOD AT WHAT HE DID AND PROFESSIONAL IN HOW HE WENT ABOUT IT. I STILL WEAR THE BLACK   T SHIRT WITH WHITE LETTERING THAT OUR FLEET  SECTION PUT OUT REMINDING ALL OF US THAT THEY KEPT THE PRIDE IN OUR RIDE!
I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK WITH STEVE A MONTH OR SO AGO AND I HAD SEEN HIS PICTURE AT THE LAST RETIREES LUNCHEON. HE WAS THE SAME GOOD NATURED ALWAYS SMILING MAN THAT HE HAD BEEN DURING OUR WORKING DAYS.
I FEEL BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HIM AND THANKFUL FOR ALL HE DID FOR US. MAY HIS FAMILY KNOW THAT HE WAS LOVED BY HIS FELLOW EMPLOYEES AND THAT WHILE HE WILL BE MISSED HE IS HEALED AND IN A NEW BODY AND FOR THAT WE SHOULD ALL BE THANKFUL.

For years our PHQ work base was at Fleet. We saw Steve Daily. Always a little sarcasm and a laugh. Even though he wasn’t a cop he seemed like one of us. He will be missed. Prayers for his family. Rest In Peace old friend.

Steve was my boss at fleet he was great to work for he trusted that we would do our jobs and let us do them. Thats a big deal. He was a great guy and friend I am sure saddened by his ending..

His door was always open. I can still hear him say “hey Jack what’s up buddy”.  Such a great smile. I’m glad we sat next to each other at the Mama Leone’s lunch and got caught up. Blessed to have had him in my life. 

Steve was a wonderful guy and great to work with. He was dedicated, hard working and a true professional. He was always willing to try new things as long as they were good for the fleet. I never heard a cross word from him, even on those rare days when he had his “grumpy” face on - you could tell that deep down he was a happy guy who cared about us. I looked forward to his Facebook posts on the old cars.

Rest in Peace, Steve, you are missed.

Had some great times hanging out with Steve and Donna and all the Philly  friends back in the day. We had some great times in his basement apartment .We kept in touch by phone and he came up to Philly for visits 
I will miss the phone calls and long conversations we had  for hours  .
Some Day we will see each other again, till then Rest in  Peace my long time friend.

Steve was the best! Will miss his political satire and great personality. Always willing to make sure our patrol cars were on top notch shape. SSO retirees lunch won’t be the same without him. God Bless him and prayers to his family during this time
