

Timothy A. Newton of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on March 19th 2025. He was predeceased by his father, Anselm Newton, mother, Mary Kuhl Newton, and brother David Newton. He is survived by his loving wife Marla, two children, Michael and Marisa (DeWayne Joseph), Grandchildren, Samuel and Sophia. Siblings, Gregory, Christopher, Martha, identical twin Thomas, Mary, and Jonathan. Several nieces and nephews, German foreign exchange student Yvonne, and his beloved dog Oliver "Ollie."
His warmth, kindness, and larger-than-life spirit touched everyone who knew him.
Timothy found joy in life’s simple pleasures—spending time with his family, exploring nature, and building with his hands. He had a deep love for the natural world, especially trees, and took pride in sharing his knowledge with his family. Through his teachings, he not only connected his loved ones to nature but also brought them closer to each other. He also had a passion for travel and experiencing different cultures, always embracing new places and people with curiosity and openness. Whether he was sharing a laugh with loved ones, working on a new project, or discovering a new part of the world, his love for life and those around him was unmistakable. His presence wasn’t just large in size but also in heart and spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Above all, Timothy was a devoted family man who cared deeply for his loved ones and the world around him. His compassion, sense of adventure, and strength will be remembered and cherished always.
Timothy’s legacy of love, kindness, and a passion for life will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A memorial gathering for Timothy will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
