Victor A. Pagnotto, age 99, of Sarasota, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 14, 2018. He was born June 7, 1918 in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania to the late Anthony and Margaret (Guariglia) Pagnotto. He married Mary Pagnotto in 1946. Victor was a hard working father and husband for his family. He ran the Load Control Center for the Philadelphia Water Department for over 30 years. Victor served in the US Navy during WWII as a Lt. Commander. He loved baseball and was a proud Phillies Fan.
He was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 71 years, Mary B. Pagnotto and his brothers and sisters.
He is survived by; daughter, Toni M. (Mike) Traczuk; son, Charles (Karen) Pagnotto; grandsons, Ryan, Chris, Matt, Mark; great grandchildren, Brigid, Aidan, Cian, Mike, Mia, Brady, Brooke. Those who were close to him knew him as, "Peaslee" or "Uncle Peaslee" that will be dearly missed.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 20, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Legacy Chapel at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home & Memorial Park, with Deacon Kevin McKenney officiating.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family suggests donations made in his name to: Christ Child Society of Sarasota or Bay Pines Healthcare System Fisher House.
