William Wheeler Fleeman Jr.

He proudly served in the US Army and as a Police Officer for the City of Sarasota. William was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sarasota, where he married his wife of 70 years, Rachel.

He enjoyed fishing and traveling to the mountains of North Carolina.

William is survived by his wife, Rachel; son, William K. Fleeman (Brenda) of Sarasota and grandsons, Mark (Addie) Whaley and Scott (Erin) Fleeman, both of Sarasota; 8 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Frances McCullough and brother, Donald K. Fleeman.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Sat. Aug. 11, 2018 at Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, FL 34232. Burial will be private.
