Zanith was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania on May 5, 1947. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Brunda. She married Alfred Hamel, Jr., on March 24, 2021. Zanith worked in both legal and real estate for Milgrimz, Thonajan, Jacob and Lee Law Firm and Coldwell Banker. She was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church and had a passion for the beach and her grandchildren.
Zanith is survived by her loving husband, Alfred Hamel, Jr.; daughter Alana Brunda; stepdaughters Shana and Amie Hamel; grandchildren Autumn Brogan, Liam Burger, and Grace Hartmann.
Funeral arrangements are as follows at St. Barbara’s Greek Orthodox Church, Sarasota, Florida, on Friday, January 9, 2026: visitation 10-11 a.m., church service 11 a.m., followed by a private burial.
