Julia Agnes Turoci Taylor

Julia Agnes Taylor, age 90, of Dyer passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 with her loving daughter at her side. Julia was born March 3, 1923 in East Chicago to the late George and Mary (Toth) Turoci. Surviving relatives are her daughter, Julie (Cecil) Haun of Dyer; grandson, Joshua Haun; and granddaughter, Jennifer (Dan) Gasik both of Dyer. Her sister-in-law, Katie Turoci; numerous nieces and nephews. Also, unofficial grandchildren, nieces and nephews to many of her friends and neighbors. Preceded in death is her husband of over 50 years, of marriage Louis Taylor. Also her brothers: Lester (Betty) Turoci, George Turoci; and her sister, Mary (John) Petho. Julia was an avid card player and loved hosting and entertaining card parties. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2013 12:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (one-half mile south of US 30) Schererville with Victoria Mosca officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
