

Following her graduation from Van Buren High School, in Van Buren, Indiana, she met and fell in love with Darrell Wilson. The couple were married on September 23, 1955.
Darrell and Ada moved to San Diego, California while he was serving in the United States Navy.
David Wilson, their only child was born to them on August 14, 1957. They moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1967.
Ada worked in mortgage and data processing for sixty-one years.
She was an active member of Paradise Valley United Methodist Church and she volunteered at a local hospital for 6 years. Her wonderful sense of humor and friendly personality served her well.
She enjoyed baking pies when the Arizona temperatures allowed it. And, she was known for her cookies and pies.
Ada is survived by her son, David Wilson and wife, Brenda, one Granddaughter, Stacey Montijo and husband, Oscar, one Great Granddaughter, Hayden Sawyers and husband, Richard, one sister, Karen Eltzroth and husband Marvin, of Indiana and one brother, Dale Turner, and his wife Georgia, also of Indiana. She is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
Ada definitely had a sweet tooth and ice cream was her favorite.
In lieu of flowers, the family is suggesting donations to Hospice of the Valley, a cause close to Ada’s heart.
