

38, of Gold Canyon, Arizona, died December 15, 2015, doing what he loved, being a flight nurse on Native Air 5, a helicopter air ambulance. For unknown reasons Chad’s aircraft crashed in the Superstition Mountain range killing Chad, the pilot and seriously injuring a flight paramedic. Chad was born October 10, 1977, in Portland, Oregon, to Lark and Steven Frary. He was a fun loving and caring young man. After graduating high school, Chad enlisted in the military and served his country proudly and honorably as a United States Marine. After being discharged from the military, Chad moved to Reno, Nevada, where he met his wife Linda McDonald. They were married in 2002, and eventually moved to Gold Canyon, Arizona, to care for Chad’s ailing father. In December of 2008, Chad and Linda were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Sydney. Sydney was the light of Chad’s life. Chad loved to hunt, camp, and enjoy the outdoors of Arizona with his family and friends. Chad is preceded in death by his father, Steve Frary, grandparents Robert and Norma Frary and grandfather Raymond Befus. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Sydney Frary, grandmother Alice Befus, mother Lark Frary, sister Tiffany Frary, aunts Myrth Ogilvie (Jean) and Melody Barton, uncles Robert Frary, Ray Befus (Donna), great uncle Dick Henderson (Myrna), In-laws Carla Fawcett and Bob McDonald (Mary), and 12 cousins. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 27th at 1 PM at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona, 85257.
