

Born Geraldine Leibowitz in Brooklyn NY on March 21, 1945, to Philip and Hanna Leibowitz. The middle child and sister to Laurel and Morty- Geraldine was an extremely bright child and graduated high school at the age of 16. Determined to pursue a broader education she graduated from nursing school and began a long and distinguished career in the healthcare field. She was well regarded in the pharmaceutical industry as a diabetes educator and spent over 2 decades doing clinical research.
She was a passionate advocate for women's equality, animals and the arts. Chloe was truly an adventurer and traveled all over the world including time living in both Germany and Hungary. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and brother. She is survived by her sister Laurel, son Jonathan (Stacey) and daughter Jessica, her 6 grandchildren Ryan (Gabby), Benjamin, Hanna, Annie, Sara, Madelyn and Emma and her beloved rescue companion Yoda. She leaves behind countless friends both short term and long term, numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
Services will be held to celebrate her life on Wednesday September 11, 2024, at 11am at Green Acres Mortuary 401 N Hayden Road in Scottsdale officiated by her nephew Rabbi Boruch Perton, a reception will follow at 12:30pm. We will be observing shiva on Thursday from 3pm-7pm and Friday from 2pm-6pm at 10977 East Tierra Drive Scottsdale
