Christina Sue Comer

Christy was born on January 6, 1958 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

She moved to Arizona with her parents and older sister when she was 18 months old.

After graduating from East High in 1976, she went to work at Goldwater’s Warehouse. She spent 18 years at Valley National Bank until her job was outsourced when Bank One took over. Eleven days later, she went to work at CSK Auto and was there until it was taken over by O’Reilly Automotive.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Catherine Comer, her sister Ann Comer and her grandparents Thomas and Elsie Comer and Chris and Elsie Ryan.

Survivors include several out-of-state family members and a multitude of friends.

A celebration of Christy’s life will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM with a reception following at the A&O Disciples of Christ/Templo Cristiano Central Church (formerly Creighton Christian Church) at 2131 E Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Larkspur Christian Church, 10614 N 43rd Ave, Glendale, AZ 85304.
