He was a kind, caring, and artistic man who could solve any problem or build anything. He owned a successful garage door business. Prior to this, he owned an aquarium cleaning and designing company and a high-fire porcelain ceramics company. He was also a private pottery instructor who had a natural talent for not only creating but also bringing others on the journey of high-fire ceramics.
When he wasn't working, he was passionate about offshore sport fishing, having traveled to several prime sportfishing locations across the world. He had a fond love for the ocean, as well as watching any type of auto racing. In life, he was a patient and willing teacher, attentive listener, and always knew how to give the best advice for anyone to succeed.
Chris is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Yvette Cuda, who adored him, his loving mom, Pamela Heathman, and his aunt, Dee Powers, along with his best buddy, Bruno, his beloved Chocolate Labrador.
A private ceremony will be held in Key West, FL, where he will forever bring good luck to fishermen abroad. Instead of flowers or gifts for the family, please donate to Hospice of the Valley - Ryan House or The Billfish Foundation, a cause he was deeply passionate about.
