Dishal, I first met you though Meenaaunty's family. The number of years I got to know you, you were the most caring, happy, respectful and helpful man!

I enjoyed talking about cars, jokes and other stuff with you! The above photo when I came to San Francisco for the first time for a long weekend. Glad we both went to visit Alcatraz Island even you never been before, I was happy that we both went there for the first time!

Dishal, A true gentleman with the kindest heart, sweetest smile and brilliant mind.  We will always remember your warmth, your giving heart and what a wonderful big brother and mentor you were to Natasha and Amar.  You always made time to spend with them and play with them since they were little. Those are some of the fondest memories of their much loved Dishalbhai. They will never forget the best heart shaped pancakes with sliced strawberries you made them for Valentine’s Day.  Jattin will never forget the car buying road trips and fun you had. Every time I drive in my Q5, I remember the shocked smile on my face as Christmas came early, with the two Amigos driving my new car home from Santa Ana.  You had a special gift of making people feel special and cared for, always ready to lend a hand. While your loss is immeasurable on earth, heaven gained a true angel. Until we meet again, may you fly on the wings of the angels and rest in peace.

I will always remember your smile, your never ending optimism and and your contribution to mankind.  I cry but it is for me because I will miss you. I rejoice in the fact that I know your are now universal. I will miss our heartfelt talks and all the wisdom you shared with my soul. Thank you for helping my soul grow and understand. I mean, where do I begin? You were my brother. We grew up together. You were there for all of our life milestones (going to college, buying my first not garbage car, dating garbage guys and then finally finding Nick). You did everything first, tested out the waters, and then let us know it was fine to jump in. That’s the kind of guy you were. You made everyone feel safe and relaxed. We were supposed to look to you for the next steps in our life and now you’re gone. We will celebrate you in everything we do. Love you, Dish!

My condolences to Dishal’s family and friends on hearing the terrible news of his passing. I met Dishal in the UK through his cousin Hinal. We also met again in the US in 2014.

Really shocked to hear this sad news. We remember Disal playing with my son Kiran in Telford.  Though we have not been in touch recently, but our relationship has been a long term one from Scotland and then Telford.
