Doris Kaltenheuser was born to Andrew McCauley and Mary Jessup McCauley on February 9, 1926 in Cambridge, Iowa as the fourth of five children. She married Fred Kaltenheuser on February 17, 1945. After her husband was discharged from the military, she worked at the Iowa Highway Commission.
The family relocated to Arizona in 1964. She was active in The Mesa Southwest Museum Guild and The First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Anne Castell. Doris is preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant daughter Cathy Jo Kaltenheuser, brothers Howard and Norman McCauley and sisters Iris Longnecker and Betty Ross.
Services to take place on Sat., October 9th, 2021 at Green Acres Mortuary (401 N Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85257), Visitation from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm and Graveside Service at 3:00 pm. Graveside service will be livestreamed, please join through Doris' obituary page on Greenacresmortuary.net.
