Efrain Graduated from Espejo High School and was married to Mery Pienknagura on March 31, 1957 in Quito, Ecuador. Efrain worked as an industrialist entrepreneur for La Competencia S. A., Banco Popular, Colegio Alberto Einstein. He was a member of OJIC, Industria de Comercio Ecuador, Banco de la Produccion and had a passion for volleyball, reading, movies, travel, history, arts and culture.
He was survived by Mery Pienknagura, his children Jose, Fanny and Marco and grandchildren Benjamin, Michelle and Rachel, brothers, Jacobo and Leon; and Pienknagura, Zuccini clan. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jaime and Benjamin.
A funeral service for Efrain will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 5:30 PM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257.
