Emily Sue Keith

Emily Sue Keith (Gardner) 41, passed away on March 6, 2020, peacefully with her husband by her side. Emily was born on May 9, 1978, in Phoenix, Arizona. Emily graduated from Alhambra High School in 1996 and attended NAU where she received a degree in Special Education. Emily did her graduate studies through Ottawa University becoming a School Psychologist. Emily was a loving and dedicated mother, wife, and friend. She touched many lives. She had a passion for helping children. She started working with children when she was still in high school and found joy in lifting up those who needed help the most. Emily loved being a mother for her daughter, Emma. Emily also enjoyed serving in her church and had many callings over the years. Emily was preceded in death by her older brother, Artie Gardner. Emily is survived by her mother and father, Fredie and Chris Gardner, her sisters, Ivana Bonhorst, Stacey Thomas, and Shannon Gardner, her brother, Shawn Gardner, her husband, Gregory Keith, and her beloved daughter, Emma Nicole Keith. A funeral service that was scheduled for Friday March 20th, 2020 has been canceled due to concern for others safety dusting the current coronal virus issues. A privet burial will take place for immediate family by invitation only and a celebration of Emily’s wonderful life will be held at a future time when restrictions on gathering are eased. We are so thankful for all the well wishes and do read your post and find comfort in them in this time of challenge for our country. The family asks that donations to the American Cancer Society be made in lieu of flowers.
