Florence Elizabeth Hackett

Florence E. (Wright) Hackett, 96, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away at her home in Mesa. She was born on May 21, 1916 in Summitville, Iowa, the daughter of Perry A. and Emma E. (Mollers) Wright. She was married to James Kenneth Hackett of Carthage, Illinois. He preceded her in death on Sept 26, 1985.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Carol Barsi of Mesa AZ, Judy Hall of Chico, CA, Peggy (Larry) Love of Firestone CO, 1 son, James (Shelley) Hackett of Tempe, AZ. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren Robb Alleman of Frederick MD, Michelle (Steve) Cornelius of Gilbert AZ, Bill (Heidi) Hall of Alturas CA, Bob (Wendy) Hall of Biggs, CA , Jim (Sarah) Hall of Chico CA, Susan (Todd) Hughes of Cedarville CA, Kevin Hackett of Kirkland WA, Matthew Hackett of Mesa AZ, Julie Love of Firestone Co, Kelley Love of Northglenn CO, and Scott Love of Firestone CO, 21 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her daughter Lynne Alleman, her parents, 1 brother, 2 sisters, 1 infant sister, and 1 great-granddaughter.

Mrs. Hackett lived in the Phoenix area after moving from Macomb, IL. She retired from Motorola in 1978. She was a member of the Scottsdale Christian Church.

She enjoyed music, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her large family.

Services will be held at the Green Acres Chapel on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Burial will be in the Green Acres Mausoleum in Scottsdale, Az.
