

Gregg David Alpert, 45, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away from cardiac arrest on September 25, 2010. Gregg was a devoted husband and father, enjoying the time he spent with his family the very most. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, fly fishing, and mountain biking. He was born on August 27, 1965 in Van Nuys, CA. Gregg graduated from Chaparral High School in 1983; earned his B.S.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from the University of Arizona in 1987; was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity where he was the President; and a member of Bobcats Senior Honorary. Over the course of 23 years, Gregg worked at Evergreen Development Company where he rose from intern to Managing Principal. He was past president of Valley Partnership; a council member of Urban Land Institute Arizona (ULI); and board member of Arcadia Water Company. He leaves behind his wife Julie; son Will, daughter Sarah and daughter Kate; parents Arnold and Judith Alpert; brother, Gary (Suzanne) and sister Laura (Brian). Funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 29th at 10am at Temple Solel, 6805 E. McDonald Drive, Scottsdale. Burial service immediately following at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N.
