Spurgeon, Helen “Mimi”, 91, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away on February 28, 2017. She was born in Ruston, Louisiana on October 8, 1925. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill. Helen is survived by her daughter Cathie O’Connell, granddaughters Maria (Bret) Bonarrigo, Erin (Justin) Snyder and Kelly O’Connell (Craig Klein) and 5 great-grandchildren Jack, Jason, Evan, Owen and Fiona and her brother Johnny (Jeannie) Brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3rd from 3:00-4:00 PM, with funeral services at 4:00 PM, at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ.
