Heriberto "Eddie" Zazueta, age 79, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born on March 16, 1947, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, Heriberto lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to family, and an unwavering sense of generosity.
Heriberto embarked on a remarkable journey from his birthplace in Hermosillo to the United States, where he built a life filled with purpose and pride. In January 2001, he achieved one of his proudest milestones by becoming a U.S. citizen. His determination and resilience were hallmarks of his character.
For 56 years, Heriberto dedicated himself to his craft as a skilled radiator and automotive mechanic. His expertise and work ethic earned him respect and admiration from those who knew him. Beyond his career, Heriberto possessed an extraordinary talent for fixing anything—whether it was a car or something around the house—his resourcefulness and skill were unmatched.
Heriberto's passions extended beyond his work. He had a deep love for westerns and karate movies, often enjoying films featuring Chuck Norris, John Wayne, and Charles Bronson. This shared passion became a cherished bond between him, his sons, and grandchildren as they memorized the theme songs to countless westerns together.
A devout Catholic and deeply family-oriented man, Heriberto was the cornerstone of his family. He was a devoted husband to Graciela; a loving father to Fabian, Omar (and his wife Elisa), and Martin; a proud & doting grandfather to Monique, Alyssa, Dezeray, Xavier, Erik, Alex, Adrian, Jazmine, and Kali; and a great-grandfather to Isaac, Christian, Mason, Tatiana, Noah, and Elijah; a beloved brother to Francisco and Teresa. His home was always open to anyone in need—a testament to his boundless generosity.
Heriberto was predeceased by his parents, Isabel Yanez Parra and Francisco Zazueta but leaves behind an enduring legacy of love and kindness that will be treasured by all who knew him.
