Honey Sue Miller-Bonanno

She was born in Queens, New York, on July 11, 1966 to parents Edward and Dorie Miller.

Honey graduated from Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona. She went on to dedicate herself to a meaningful career in healthcare, working for the Mayo Clinic in Arizona for over 12 years. Through her work, Honey brought compassion and steadiness to those she served and to the colleagues who worked alongside her.

Honey met David Bonanno 37 years ago, and they began dating in February of 2007. Their relationship grew into a devoted partnership, and they were married on April 19, 2020, in Arizona.

Honey loved going to the beach and enjoyed planning stay-cations, finding joy in simple escapes and time well spent. She also loved animals, especially her cat, Tron, who held a special place in her heart.

Honey is survived by her husband, David Bonanno; her mother, Dorie Miller; her son, Brendan Sodell; her sister, Shari Patti (Steve); her niece, Lauren Miller; her great nephews, Ryyan and Preston; and many other friends and family. Honey was preceded in death by her father, Edward Miller, and her brother, Gary Miller.

A Graveside Service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257, on March 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (10:00AM MST / 1:00PM EST).
