Jack Harold Grosvenor

88, of Chandler passed away on March 30, 2012. Jack moved to Arizona in 1948 from Illinois. He served in the Navy during WWII. Jack and his wife Florene settled in Chandler where Jack started a successful electrical contracting business and operated it until he retired. Jack was very community service oriented. He served on the Chandler Hospital Board for 22 years and during this time he supervised the construction of the new Chandler Regional Hospital. He retired from the board in 1988. He served as the head of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce for many years. He was very active in the Lions and Elks clubs as well as many other charitable organizations. Jack was an avid hunter, loved many outdoor activities and loved ballroom dancing with Florene. Jack is survived by his wife of 65 years Florene, sons Jeff and Steve, daughter-in-law Kathi and grand children Greg and Analise. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Green Acres Chapel of Light, located at 401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, Arizona 85257. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hospice of the Valley , 1510 E. Flower St. Phoenix AZ 85014, who made Jack's end of life journey very peaceful.
