He was born in Grundy, Virginia in 1936. He joined the military and was stationed in Chicago, Illinois where he met his wife Judith. James and Judith have been married for 58 years. They moved to Scottsdale in 1980 following family. He was an avid Cubs fan and got to see the Cubs win the World Series in 2016.
James worked hard every day of his life to provide for his family, now he can rest in peace in heaven with his parents and brother.
He is survived by his wife Judith, son Michael, daughter Michelle, granddaughters Jasmine and Paige, and his sister Debbie.
