Jan was a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose kindness, patience, and unwavering love formed the foundation of her family. She began her career as a teacher before dedicating her life to raising her two sons, Matt and Glen.
Married to her beloved husband, Frank, for 59 years, Jan brought warmth and light into every home she touched. She loved to cook and was known for her delicious homemade meals that gathered family and friends around the table—always filled with laughter, stories, and love.
Teaching was central to who Jan was—both in the classroom and in the way she lived her life. She shared her gifts as an educator, volunteer, and lifelong learner. She led Bible studies, sang in church choirs, served with Al-Anon, and gave generously of her time to the Red Cross, local hospitals, and her church community. Her quiet strength and servant’s heart touched countless lives.
Jan cherished her friendships and nurtured them with loyalty, compassion, and joy. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit, gracious heart, and ability to make everyone around her feel cared for and understood.
She is survived by her sons Matt and Glen, daughter-in-law Tia, Matt’s fiancée Kali, and her beloved grandchildren Matthew, Nicholas, Avery, Eva, and Eddie.
A graveside service will be held at Green Acres Cemetery on October 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
Jan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of faith, love, and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
