Janet Lynn Richards

She was born in Flagstaff Arizona on December 24, 1956 to Timothy and Louise Becker. She graduated from Yuma High School in 1975 and attended Baptist Bible College in Springfield Missouri.

Most of her life was spent in ministry as a missionary and pastors wife. She is known to family and friends as one who would always offer a hug, hold a hand and pray for anyone. Her compassion toward people was evident and her strongest desire was to point the lost and broken to Jesus.

Her children and grandchildren were everything to her and was evidenced in the photos that covered her walls and the stories she would tell of each.

She is survived by her brother, Donald Becker (Wife Vicki) of Scottsdale, her children, Erin Salvador (Eric) of Harriman, TN, Coren Richards of Sierra Vista, AZ, Ian Richards (Amanda) of Sinajana, Guam, Lauren Hosterman (John) of Sierra Vista, AZ, her grandchildren, Tyler and Nick Salvador, Tate, Felicity, Blake, Jessa and Cohen Larsen, Lily, Adalyn, Emilia, and A.J. Richards, Ryenne and Logan Hosterman.

A memorial service in her honor will be held in Sierra Vista at the New Hope Fellowship, 5420 Desert Shadows Drive, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635, on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 10:00am.
