Joan Marie Coppola, age 92, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023. She was born in Loomis, CA to Fred and Irene Klein. She was preceded in death by Alfred, her husband of 67 years. They were married in Highland, New York. They lived in Poughkeepsie, New York until 19778 when they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona.
She is survived by her 3 children; Alan (Jayne) of Phoenix, AZ; Janet Starace (Tom) of Valatie, New York and Bruce (Terri) of Port Orange, Florida. Also, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Joan was a nurse for 36 years both in Poughkeepsie, New York and Scottsdale, Arizona. She became very active in her retirement community both in Scottsdale and Lakeside, Arizona. As an avid seamstress, she made many items for friends and family. Gardening was also a special love for her.
