Joe Cortez

Cortez, Joe 71 of Phoenix, passed away on December 21, 2015. He was born in Phoenix, AZ on November 9, 1944. Joe was a claims adjuster at State Farm Insurance Company for 30 years. Joe was the Right Eminent Grand Commander of the Grand Commandery of Arizona for York Rite Masons 2008-2009). Joe is preceded in death by his father and mother Ruben G. Cortez & Cruz Cortez, his sisters Belia Drain & Lupe Olea, brother Ruben Cortez Jr, and grandson Chance Robichaux. Joe is survived by his wife Lei Lani Cortez, Daughters Mona Robichaux & Tanya Cortez, son Shawn Cortez, brother David (Janet) King, sisters Ana Lopez & Rebecca (Bob) Driskell, granddaughters Bethany Cortez and Natalie Cortez, grandson Travis (Maria)Robichaux, and great grandson Jonathon Robichaux, and a number of nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 27th from 6PM to 8PM and funeral Monday, December 28th at 10AM at Green Acres Mortuary 401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale AZ.
