John Lee Corbin passed away on April 13, 2017 at 86 years old at home with his family. He died peacefully in his sleep. He was born in Findlay, Ohio to Willard and Rachel Corbin which he was the oldest of seven children. He was a senior welder/supervisor for Salt River Project for 40 years at the Cross Cut Canal location.
John married Rinette Gartley on August 31, 1996. They both loved to bowl, golf, and go out for pizza with their friends. John also loved to play pool with his many friends at the local hangouts. John was a member of the Phoenix Elks Club and the Moose lodge for many years.
John is survived by his wife Rinette Corbin, his son Greg Corbin (Angela Corbin), his daughter Donna Strege (Bob Strege), both of Phoenix, his sister Annette Gazyb of Ramona, California, his brother Ronnie Corbin of Phoenix, his brother David Corbin (Barbara) of Phoenix, and his grandchildren: Chad Salinas of Phoenix, and John Corbin of Phoenix, his great grandchildren: Justin Ludwig and Chelsey Ludwig of Chino Valley, AZ, Bailey Salinas of Phoenix, and Audrey Love Corbin of Phoenix.
