Born and raised in Montebello, California, John served honorably in the U.S. Army for eight years before going back home to start a family. In 1988, he moved his family to Arizona, where he lived out the remainder of his life working as a jet engine inspector for Honeywell Aerospace Division and enjoying the desert life.
He loved his family, working on cars, off-roading, tinkering with guns at his workbench, reading books and comic books, and watching good shows. He also loved laughing loudly, secretly crying at those good shows when he thought nobody was looking, screaming at electronics, and giving people the middle finger when he thought it was justified.
He is survived by his sons, John and Jason; his granddaughter, Everley; his twin sisters, Lynn and Carol; and his nieces and nephew, Jamie, Lisa, Jennifer, and Jason.
