A little late, but I was happy to see all the remembrances of Johnny Palumbo. We grew up in the same neighborhood and I was best friends with John's big brother Anthony (R.I.P.).

I was so sorry to hear of your loss.  The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

What sad news to hear about John. We went to St.Barts and Turner together, played little league baseball and were co-workers at Steak N Burger.I will miss talking Bills and Sabres. RIP Buddy.

I am very sad to hear about John's passing. We went to St. Barts grammar school and Bishop Turner High School together. We also played Central Park little league baseball together and were co- workers at a restaurant in downtown Buffalo called Steak N Burger.
He was a true blue Buffalo sports fan and am going to miss talking Bills and Sabres with him. Rest in Peace my good friend.

John, re connecting with an old childhood friend was such a joy to me. We endured the nuns at St. Bart's and the priest's of Bishop Turner . And despite our efforts to resists what they taught us, we became grown men who used those values to raise our own kids. Anyway, I am so glad we had that one last meeting in our older age to catch up , shake hands and remember. Rest in Peace my friend.

John,  you were always so nice and such a cute kid when we grew up. I finally got to see you a few years go when Tim Nold, and George Ohar kept our kindergarden class together my deepest condolences to the entire family !

So sorry to hear of John's passing. He was such an asset to CNA National with his work ethic and outlook on life. Football season will never be the same without his knowledge of who to watch and our little bets on Buffalo and Pittsburgh. We missed him when he retired, however he did stop into the office once in a while, so his sudden passing was a shock to all of us. John, we know you are in a better place and want you to know that it was a joy to have known you. Much sympathy to his family. Maria Egidi

I am a classmate of John's from St Bart's School in Buffalo, NY.  I have many wonderful memories of John from grade 1 to grade 8.  Our class still remains close and meet at different times throughout the year.  In speaking with John just a few short weeks ago, he was hoping to return to Bflo and join us.  He will be missed.  God has gained another angel.

I am a classmate of John's from St. Bart's school in Buffalo, NY.  We went to school together from first grade until eighth grade.  I have so many memories of him and all the special times we shared as classmates.  Our class still remains close and continues to meet.  We chatted a short time ago and he was hoping to make a trip back to Bflo to join us.  Such a kind, gentle soul, he will be missed.

John was one of my most favorite co-workers. He always had a positive outlook on just about everything. One day, he asked me if I liked sponge candy. I told him I never even heard of it. The following week, he gave me two pounds of sponge candy. . . he wasn't sure if I liked dark or milk chocolate, so he gave me a pound of each!  He was a great listener and friend. He is already very much missed.

I worked with John at CNA National, He was always smiling at work. He was there to help if you needed something mailed. It's hard to hear that he had moved on so quickly, My prayers and condolences for John and His family. RIP my friend.
