Johnny C. Brock

Johnny was born in Wellington, Texas on June 22, 1936 to Mattie and John Brock. Johnny graduated from Wellington High School, then proudly served in the US Navy.

After an honorable military discharge, Johnny met Leola Amos and her two daughters, Linda and Sharon Daniels. He fell in love with all three and on December 26, 1959 he made Leola his bride. A year later Johnny and Leola celebrated the birth of their third daughter, Joanie, and soon after welcomed their first of many grandchildren.

Johnny served as Sheriff of San Manuel, and later as a hydroelectric operator for Salt River Project before retiring to his cabin in the woods. He loved fishing, camping, hunting, science, reading, UFO’s and outer space, but more than anything, he loved his family.

Johnny is survived by his “beautiful bride” Leola and his daughter Joanie (Rudy), son in law Jim, his grandchildren, Zack (Wanda), Angela (David), Josie (Tom), Rene, Greg, Mary (Joe), Yonna, Johnny, Briana (Jose) and Brock; his bro, Calvin Brock; as well as many, many, MANY great, and great-great-grandchildren.

Johnny, Daddy, Papaw, will live on in the hearts, memories, and smiles of everyone who knew and loved him.
