Josie C. Gomez

She is survived by her daughters; Esther, Shirley and Karen. Eight grandchildren; Melissa, Brittney, Valerie, Nicole, Kayla, Kristen, Jacob and Jared. Nine great grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Alayla, Maddon, Nicholas, Josie, Lincoln, Gracie, Hudson and Roman. Her son in laws; Jess, Jeff, Bobby, Ed, Jason and Thomas. Many loving friends, family and extended family. Josie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to everyone.

Josie enjoyed travelling the United States with her husband. Her most favorite place to travel with Ray was to Hawaii. During their travels they would explore new places and visit family and friends. The best times she had with Ray were also their Friday night dates for dinner and margaritas. She also enjoyed hosting house parties for friends and family. Josie was quite the fashionista and beautician. After selling, “Josie's Beauty Salon,” she became quite the prominent housewife and mother. She was always dressed to the nines, even while doing housework. She not only raised her three children, she helped raise her grandchildren, and her nieces and nephews. While the kids were in school, you could always find her at one of her favorite stores, shopping. She also enjoyed visiting with friends over coffee and deserts. Anytime, anyone needed help or advice, she was the first to call. She always had the answers and was eager to share. She will always be remembered for her dedication to her husband, children, family and friends. Her hard work, caring nature and beauty will forever be left in our hearts.

Funeral services will be Sunday, March 28, 2021 at Green Acres Cemetery. The viewing will begin at 12:00 pm, service at 1:00 pm and burial at 2:00 pm. 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale Arizona 85257.
