She is preceded in death by her long time partner, Jim Smid; her two children, Sharon Lynn Martinez and Charlie Anderson Jr; her parents, Louis and Daisy Kirby; and siblings, Louis Kirby and Sharon Ickes.
She is survived by her siblings, Danny Kirby, Donna Truex, and Melba Classen; her grandchildren, Debra, Matthew, and McKenna Martinez; ten great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members: Phil and Mary Smid, and Susan Boulanger.
Linnie was born on July 30, 1947 in Phoenix, Arizona. She attended Tempe Union High School, and went on to work as a Plastics Fabricator for many years.
She spent her whole life in Tempe, Arizona with her family in the same neighborhood. She was known for her fiery personality, and she loved everyone in her own way. She will be dearly missed.
