Martha "Mardi" Sandeen Trygg

She was married to Kenneth Charles Trygg at First Covenant Church in Minneapolis on September 9, 1961. She was a member of the Church of the Lutheran Brethren in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and also a member of the Christian Women's Club. Mardi received a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from Arizona State University and was an exchange student in Germany. She remained friends with her host family in Germany for the rest of her life.

Mardi enjoyed strawberries, and collecting anything with strawberries on them. She was one of the world's great listeners, cared for essentially everyone she met, and had a wonderful smile and a terrific sense of humor.

Mardi is survived by her husband, Ken Trygg; her children, Margie (Erik) Blair and Rob (Laurie) Trygg; her grandchildren: Nick Smith, Ryan Smith, Holly Lundgren; 2 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
