Michael Mehdi Malekooti

Michael (Mike) Malekooti passed away November 29, 2015 at the young age of 25 years old. Michael graduated from Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Upon his graduation he accepted a position with Arizona Public Service as an IT Systems Analyst and has worked there for the past two years. Michael was a caring and genuine person whose kindness was only matched by his willingness to help those in need. He was the person who friends and family would often turn to when times became difficult. Michael was an avid enjoyer of ice hockey, four-wheeling, snowboarding, and Disney films. He will be forever loved by his father Hashem, mother Stacie, two siblings Sasha and David, and his pets Tyson and Socks.

As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be sent to Helping Orphaned Hounds (H.O.H.). Michael had a soft spot for animals and loved them all, especially rescued animals like his dog Tyson who was rescued by H.O.H.
