Robert Andrew Bumbernick

Robert Andrew (Pete) Bumbernick, 86, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2019, surrounded by his family at his Scottsdale, Arizona home. Pete was born June 7, 1932 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, the youngest son of Andrew H. and Katherine M. Bumbernick. Pete was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years Mary Barbara Bumbernick. Pete is survived by his sons, Daniel married to Jerise, David married to Susanne, Michael married to Lisa, Mark and Daughter, Cheri. Sisters in law Joan Quade of Sun City,

CA, Ann Oney of the Villages, Fl.; Betty Leary, Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Ryan (wife Jesse), Courtney(husband Carlos), Dainey, (husband Josh), Kevin (wife Lyndsay), Pamela (husband Drew), Kale (wife Trish), Andrew (wife Dani), and Jeff; great Grandchildren, Kyla, Kaelin, Cade, Cruz, Casen, Kaitlyn, Chole, Andrew, Gracie, Aurora, Everett and Scarlett, Rigley, Trace, Maggie; many loving nieces and nephews; and a host of long-time friends and longtime friend Mary Barnett (Spears). Pete is predeceased by his parents Andrew and Katherine, sisters Helen, Rita, Frances, Kay, Irene and brother James. Pete enjoyed traveling to many wonderful destinations with Barbara during his 25 year retirement from Honeywell Aerospace. Pete was an avid fisherman and volunteered his time to St. Daniels Boy Scout Troop 445, Little League Baseball and local vocational training schools as an instructor. Pete was a long time active member of St. Daniel’s Catholic Church, 1030 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257 where a Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 9th at 12 noon. A reception will follow at the Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
