Robert Allen Knaperek, 73, passed away peacefully at his Tempe home on February 21, 2026. He was born on December 27, 1952, in Chicago, Illinois, to Wendell and Dolores Knaperek. When Robert met Laura Daidone, he knew instantly that he had met the love of his life. They were married in 1977 and began their family and legacy together. Bob and Laura were best friends and devoted to each other. A lifelong salesman, Robert loved going to work and meeting new people. He surrounded himself with good people, never met a stranger, and lived life big!
He was the preceded in death by his beloved wife Laura, his parents Wendell and Dolores Knaperek, his siblings Barbara Galka, William Knaperek, Dennis Knaperek, and Susan Cox.
Robert is survived by his six children: Jeshiva (Anthony), Christopher, Beth (JR), Sarah, Phyllis (Spencer), and Anthony (Jessica). He was a proud grandfather to 18 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 3, all of whom brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his sisters Karen Knaperek and Donna Lenihan-Stack (John).
Robert will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him. Robert lived a full and generous life.
Visitation and Reception will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, 6 - 8:00 pm, Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Funeral Service and Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, 10:00 am, Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints - Lakeshore Ward Building, 6001 S. Lakeshore Drive, Tempe, AZ 85283. Final Visitation will begin at 9 am. Robert will be Laid to Rest beside his beloved Laura at Green Acres Cemetery.
