Ruth Lieberman

Ruth Lieberman, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 surrounded by her loved ones. Born with a deep love for family and tradition, she built a warm and welcoming home filled with laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love.

For 70 years, she was the beloved wife of Bernard Lieberman, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories, challenges, and joys. Their enduring partnership was a testament to love, resilience, and unwavering devotion.

Ruth was the proud and loving mother of Honey Lieberman, Shoshana Aitken (Aaron) Jeffrey Lieberman and Aliza Fischel (Morey), and the cherished grandmother of Madison, Morgan, Ari, Shira, Barrett, Levi, and Sophia. She instilled in her children and grandchildren the values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance, always leading by example. Her home was a place of warmth and generosity, where family and friends were greeted with open arms and a homemade meal. Whether offering words of encouragement, sharing stories from the past, or simply being a comforting presence, Ruth’s love and wisdom left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. Ruth was a volunteer at the Ronald McDonald house, she was a member of Hadassah, loved to square dance and was a well known prankster to her family.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Bernard, her children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though she has left this world, her love and spirit will live on in the family she so deeply cherished. Ruth’s memory will forever be a blessing, carried in the hearts of those who loved her.

A funeral service for Ruth will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025, 1:00 PM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, April 8, 2025, 1:30 PM at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
