Sandra Sue Zane

Sandy a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother (Mimi). Sandy was a vibrant presence in lives that knew and loved her. She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on October 14, 1941 to parents Audrey Allen and Lois Emogene Miller. Sandra was married to her husband, Billy Gene Zane, for 45 years, prior to his passing on December 22, 2003.

Sandy is survived and missed by her son, Thomas Zane (Debra), daughter, Sally Gene Zane, grandchildren, Breck Zane, Trevor Zane (Ashley), and Brittany Gus, two great-grandsons, Dane Gus and Mason Gus, and sister, Nancy Folk (Richard). She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. Her caring, loving and giving nature made her a cherished and irreplaceable part of her family and friends.

Sandra’s priorities in life were serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and spending time with her family. She attended Chandler First Assembly of God (now known as Full Life Church) for 33 years, serving many of those years as the church bookkeeper. She loved her church family and Bible study friends. She was also a bank teller for Valley National Bank. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and took them on many vacations throughout the US. Some of their best memories were coming home with her after church for Sunday dinner. Roast and mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese for Brittany.

Sandy will be remembered for her boundless love, prayers and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. She will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held for Sandra on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 12:00pm at Full Life Church, 532 W Ray Rd, Chandler, AZ 85225.
